Why these come and go
Screen printing works the way a stencil does. A mesh is blocked out everywhere the ink should not go, and what is left open is the design — so every colour needs its own screen, and every screen has to be set up before a single bag is printed.
That setup is the reason this collection changes. It only makes sense to print a design in a run of a hundred or two at a time, so a design is available while its run lasts and then it is gone until we print it again. Some come back. Some do not.
What it buys you is a print that belongs on a bag you actually use: thick, opaque ink laid directly into organic cotton, which survives washing and creasing far better than anything transferred onto the surface.
The same bag underneath
Whatever the design, the bag is the standard goodbag — 100% organic cotton, with an NFC chip sewn in and 100 Seeds to start you off. Scan it in a participating shop and those Seeds become trees planted or ocean plastic collected.
